Game Bloggers Search Engine
This is a custom search engine for videogame analysis and criticism. It allows you to quickly search through articles by independent, non-commercial game bloggers.
There are a few key values of this tool. First, by selecting against commercial sites we cut down down on the number of press releases and product reviews that typically clog searches. Second, as the network expands it connects disparate circles of game bloggers that might not have direct contact with each other over Twitter and other social tools. Third, the thematic tabs allow you to instantly parse articles based on a variety of selection criteria that would be prohibitvely cumbersome to type out yourself. Finally, its usefulness assumes that you don't want to constantly re-invent the wheel with your writing. By researching what has already been published, you can critique or supplement the ideas of other writers and rest assured that you have something new to contribute to the understanding of a work.
You can add the search bar to your own website by going here. Please email Simon Ferrari with your website's URL if you would like to be added to the search protocol.
